    It may be different in your neck of the woods, but out here, you call (or now you can probably find a website) to apply for it. They make you come down to get the application or they can mail one to you. You fill it out, turn it back in, and hope to God they approve you and start sending money soon. The one time I applied for it, the wait time was about 2 - 2 1/2 weeks before I actually saw any money come my way.

    But with the internet, it may be a lot faster. Good luck...

    yep. In NC you had to go every so often to verify you status and show you have made so many contacts for work each month. They give you the form to show who you contacted-even it you just sent a resume.
