this will, of course, have bearing on whether players at QB are more readily available than assistant coaches?

For the record, I listed quite a few, but after the Arizona game I don't think anyone even needs to ask that anymore.

Please answer the question. Did you mean that Jake Delhomme is just outside the top ten of NFL quarterbacks?

It's immaterial. This is a question of whether assistant coaches are more available than players who are starting in this league at QB. You're making this into something different, which means you don't want to face that.

Good defensive coordinators are most certainly not more available than quarterbacks of Jake Delhomme's caliber, but you're trying to distract from the question.

You will not answer a simple yes or no question because you are cowardly and dishonest. Seriously, has anyone ever seen me refuse to answer a direct question? Meanwhile this is something magnus does every time he's too scared that answering will make him look bad, whether we're talking about how many sweeps he meant by a "handful" or if he thinks Jake Delhomme is just outside the top ten of NFL quarterbacks. He's scared to answer because he knows that he said something dumb, but he's not honest enough to just admit that. I can't even imagine what it would be like to be such a pussy that you can't even answer a question like "Did you mean that Jake Delhomme is just outside the top ten of NFL quarterbacks?" Who else here besides magnus would be too scared to just answer that question?

Yes they are. There are numerous candidates out there without work, there are numerous candidates available that are assistants; there aren't QBs just sitting on other teams that you can say "hey, we need a starter, would you let us have yours for nothing?" Having a Sean McDermott or Dave McGinnis available for potential DC hire is not the sort of option you have with quarterbacks.

Of course, above where I had to ask you a couple of times whether DC candidates were more readily available than top ten quarterbacks. You still didn't answer, because you want to quibble over my rating of Delhomme - and what I stated wasn't a rating of Jake Delhomme.

Do I believe Jake Delhomme was within the 11-15 ranking of quarterbacks? No. Does that have any relevance? No. Are you trying to pick a fight with it? Of course you are.

perhaps its the fact you have nothing worthwhile to say to refute what was said in the post-i know you like to stir up the sky is falling crowd here and thats all good and well but you have the football knowlege of any average fan, for you to act as if you are in some way superior to me or anyone else here only shows you are a douche, not if you are intelligent-enlighten me, oh great douche of TBR, how are mediocre coaches leaving gonna bring this team down to Detroits level?

and at least have a valid point, your verbal pontifications bore me
