    i get white wheat bread for like .79 cents and it saves a hell of a lot of time

    Yeah...working nights/weekends/holidays was not my cup of tea.

    Hell, I got to hang out in Vail for almost 3 years and have a J&W degree should I ever need it. Thanks, Dad.

    Not all of making something for yourself is a cost-related issue. Granted I do save on bulk beer by making it, but that's not why I make it and I do buy beer in addition. Making bread, pizza, cheese, wine, whatever would still be a part of wanting to know how, getting satisfaction out of knowing/being able to, being able to make it exactly as you want it, and freshness, as much as it would be any cost savings.

    I can't eat it unless it's toasted. Untoasted tastes like crap. Wheat bread for me, even though it's store bought.
