    what the hell does this have to do with UNC vs. NC State?

    your "would have should have been" scenarios are comical. UNC finished 8-5, NC State finished 6-7. That's all national media cares about, that's all most people care about.

    To clarify, "I'm happy with finishing with a bowl game in Davis's 2nd year with an 8-5 overall record". Every program will take a while to build. A TOB 6-7 team would agree, while beating UNC - going 6-7 isn't what the overall goal was going into the season.

    TOB showed at BC that he knows how to build a program by developing players. 10 straight years to bowl games or something like that, and there weren't (i don't think) many where they were sitting on .500.

    Y'all are just letting Collin get you all upset for nothing. Of course everyone wants fast success, but even TOB was telling everyone at NCSU booster club meetings that 'you have less than you think'. Amato was good at being a salesman, but the players he's brought in are having to be coached, and sometimes they aren't playing or they're getting benched.

    7-1 in bowl games with TOB at HC. Won 7 straight bowl games before TOB left to come to NC State. Had a losing record the first 2 years and after that BC had a winning record til he left.

    Mathmajors, no one on here lets Collin upset them. He provides us with lots of laughter and so many enjoyable post how we are to stupid to understand anything he tells us and how lucky we are for him to grace his presence on this board, at least that is what he tells himself.

    But you don't read past the first two sentences of anyone's posts, so that's not saying a lot. And LClefty isn't being particularly sincere either considering that the facts I posted clearly did upset him. It would be one thing if I just posted my opinion, but it's that I also produce facts and statistics to back up what I'm saying that makes delusional State fans hysterical.

    I was making a crack about your history of poor reading comprehension. It sucks when jokes have to be explained because the target is too dumb to get it. Then again, you are a State fan, so I guess it's to be expected.
