Paying for radio is pretty much stupid. You're right. It's really not funny.
I listen to what I want to, when I want to. I'm not sure what's funny about that.

Then you listen to a lot of commercials. I don't see a problem with someone being a fan of radio. Sirius offers a good service for those of us who like radio. Sure, there's free radio, but it pretty much sucks ass. Especially when it comes to Charlotte Sports Talk.

I can make a list of shit you don't listen to, because it's not on the radio here. Paying for it is some people's only option. You must love the three types of music stations we get here, the lame local sports talk, NPR, and 1110.

Some people have more cultured tastes and are willing to pay for it. Not sure why you think it's that funny. I think it's good to have options finally. Not to mention telling the FCC to go fuck themselves.

You are sitting at home at 12:30 on a Saturday night, pussyless, and arguing about satellite radio on a messageboard. Now that is funny.

I was spot-on how you would justify it, which is okay for you.
I don't listen to music on the radio, and the sports, talk, and sports-talk I can get locally are okay with me. I'm fine. Really. Sorry I struck a nerve.

You haven't got a clue. Oh, and 12:30am is Sunday morning, not Saturday night.
It's fine with me if someone has satellite radio. What's funny to me is how they are rabidly quick to expose themselves whenever there's a mention of local sports-talk radio.

    Yes.

I don't have satellite radio for the record, I just think laughing at what other people choose to pay for is pretty fucking stupid.

You're obviously not a radio fan so paying for radio would be asinine for you I agree. I don't spend enough time in the car to justify it for myself personally. I'm a big radio fan and can recognize the slippage in radio quality in the last two decades, so pay radio definitely has it's market.
