I didn't realize that Tom O'Brien only coached the players he expected to be starters. Who coached the backups? Someone from the veterinary school?

 

Who said he did?? I was answering that other question. I have NO CLUE what Bunting left. But I do know you guys were preseason picked no 2 in the coastal. Ended up 4-4 just like NC State in the other division. And TOB scrapped together enough walk ons (Meares Green, Robbie Leonard, bobby Floyd and Taylor Gentry ALL had big minutes in Kenan)to fill out a line up and blistered your ass. THAT I do know. Hey TRY to make it competitive next year OK???

 

I think the UNC defense should be given credit for turning Wilson into the ACC Rookie of the Year. We won't give coaches credit so lets give other teams credit.

 

You could have had Daniel Evans...just sayin

HAHA They would probably take Beck, He was a 5 star QB in HS. Make them recruiting rankings go out the roof.

I know the story. No 3 drop back passer in America and I for one wish he would have never came to NC State. Do HS stars diminish after you transfer?? My point was he was highly rated enough for Butch. You guys would have loved him if for nothing else the signing day ranking.

 

you've mentioned this before - my question is why not mention the overall record? UNC went 8-5 and beat 2 Big East teams, one of which beat NC State in their bowl game. Doesn't make much sense to keep mentioning the same ACC record when they play in different divisions and when 6 teams went 4-4 in the ACC.

 

Because thats really the only thing CLOSE to common. Yea Rutgers beat us...HAHA You know the story, not making excuses but had Tebow not finished the NC game Florida fans would probably be talking about it also. I know we were the better team down the stretch (Than UNC 41-10 should have been 60)) and I think to if these schedules were swapped, as would Utah and Florida.....or Alabama and Maryland...or any other 2 teams of your choice.....There would be differing results..... but hey your happy struggling down the stretch and that's fine. If your happy that's all that counts for your team.
