definitely driving the "OMG they're doomed, might as well warm Cowher up" bus.

As for the article, I guess that explains some things, but it's also kinda poor if coaches really left because we were a little slow on the take and waited until the season was over.

Before that from Yas, I was thinking that the offers just might have been shitty. Looks like it was both; the offers were shitty, and they were late.

Perhaps management was playing hardball because they weren't happy about the declining performance of the unit. They decided to wait until closer to the end of the contracts to see how everything played out.

The coaches felt slighted by it - you know, thinking that if someone came along that they really wanted, they would get dumped. So they bailed.

Well that's life in the NFL, I guess.

Disagree. There are candidates I'd still be perfectly comfortable with.

If the coaches were perturbed about their contract situation, then why didn't any offensive coaches leave?

and why would Trgovac decide to leave after deciding to stay? You don't do that because you're pissed.

lots coming out now, especially after Trgovac spoke, that this isn't some panic-mode, everyone scatter while you can crisis that belies some huge failure next year. It doesn't mean everything's automatically going to be rosy, but the ideals of change aren't terribly bad right now. We just have to hire the right guys.
