Yeah obviously Fox was the biggest reason, so I am off there.

But we sure heard things about how much better the locker room was, addition by subtraction, etc. and I believe some of that came from you know who. I can see them wanting to keep you know who happy. For all the good that did.

Believe me, I understand the inclination to blame Peppers for the break-up, but I've never heard any ex-teammates say a bad thing about him.

It makes sense now all those times he made a play if you notice he gave the fans a salute. Like saying fuck you I’m gone. Can't we franchise him 2 times. This could be like the Lance Briggs situation allot of smoke no fire. .

Not going to pretend losing Peppers won't hurt, it obviously does. That being said, I just don't see the doom and gloom I just read. This team just finished a 12-4 season and it most certainly was not defined by its defense which finished 18th in the league. IMHO it is very possible to lose Peppers but see the defense finish with a better ranking next season. We will be defined by our offensive line and our running game next year and could very well be one of the top running teams in the NFL with Williams and Stewart. Many here downplay Gross's ability, but he was chosen to the Pro Bowl. Wharton had a very good year, and I have read in multiple places that Kalil and Otah both have the potential to develop into Pro Bowl offensive lineman. None of this goes away with Peppers. Beason is the heart and soul of that defense, not Peppers, and he is going nowhere. The Panthers are playoff team and a Super Bowl contender with or without Peppers. Are they better with him, no doubt, do we suddenly become a bad team without him, not in my opinion.

Where is this wanting to play 3-4 coming from? Did somebody speculate and now everyone is just repeating it? Sounds like he just doesn't like this defense.

The local press feeds us a bunch of happy this season is different for x reason every year.

Why did Yas hold onto the tidbits about Peppers until now? God our press sucks
