nah. He was awful this week but in general he's done a good job. I know people are rightly emotional about the loss but this was a good season.

I voted for Kurt Warner, depending on the trade, of course. I would prefer Chris Simms, but he wasn't on the list.

He is not an NFL quarterback. He will be a blocking back or tight end.

The only guys in that poll who are better than Jake are old. Dropping Jake and going with a Lions reject would be beyond stupid.

no, fuck that... I'm not a fan. Two particular games we were up 21-10 and only to follow that up with 3 & outs and just trying to hold on for the win....

Watch any of the Pittsburgh game when they were up 21-10? Just one example... there are many. It wasn't just a bad game, this team underachieved all season. There's games we barely won when it shouldn't have even been close, but you look at the 12-4... er, 12-5... and act like this & that, but fucking Davidson is a problem, and if Fox doesn't fix that shit, then Fox is a problem

For that matter, the Panthers have made the playoffs in three of the four campaigns in which he played in every regular-season game; the only exception was in 2004, when a bushel of other injuries – particularly to wide receiver Steve Smith and running backs Stephen Davis and DeShaun Foster – derailed the team and forced it into catch-up mode after a 1-7 start.

Even then, the Panthers would have still made it to the playoffs that season had they won in Week 17 against the New Orleans Saints – a game they lost by three points, one that wasn't decided until a game-tying, 60-yard field-goal attempt was blocked at the final gun.

I'm an idiot for thinking that no one would have the nerve to defend Delhomme anymore after that last game. It is funny, though, that the team's official website felt it necessary to write a column in defense of the guy. That's how bad he was.
