Which is a perfectly valid rebuttal, because right now wins are what matter. State fans have every right to brag about destroying Carolina this season, but they make themselves look foolish when they pretend that they aren't worried about the future.

So, he is bringing in one class that is currently rated in the top 5 though likely to fall once USC,Georgia, and the likes below UNC-CH begin to get their guys on signing day. Out of this class, you nor I have any idea how these guys are going to play or even if, due to various legal/academic issues, they even get on campus. Again, Greg Paulus was a 4 star recruit. How is that working out for you. 5 star Marvin Austin watched our makeshift OL, which will be vastly better next year, put up 187 yards. Eventually, hype needs to translate to performance or you become Chuck Amato.

In other words, I have shown that you can lack objectivity and your response is to try to belittle which is pathetic and not becoming of your intelligence.

I really don't need you to as you have seen it and he is clearly being irrational in this regard as his only argument is not that he was objective, as he clearly was not, but that he has been objective over the years. Of course, as anyone could read, I have complimented him on his ability to do it better than most but it doesn't mean he is always unbiased as well. He's a smart dude and I enjoy reading much of what he thinks on football, among other topics, because he does know the game. Doesn't mean he can manage to look at this topic from an objective standpoint as he clearly has shown he cannot on this thread.

the recruiting class will finish top 10.

Not sure what Greg Paulus's rating was in basketball, but his brother Mike is quarterback for UNC. He played backup to TJ Yates, and when asked to come into a game in a very difficult circumstance, he failed. He's still young and has plenty of talent - it just may take some time. Like Glennon will need some time before he becomes a solid quarterback, it's a tough posistion to come in as a freshman and get. Wilson, Rivers, Tebow etc while very rare, are the exception.

Marvin Austin was on the all ACC freshman team. Last year he was double teamed 90% of the time which was UNC's issue. The lack of effective defensive play calling and the lack of talent on the ends.

HAHA! I did put Greg in there. LOL! I confused the one highly-rated backup brother for the other highly-rated backup.

Various people have done reviews looking back at how NFL stars were graded coming out of high school, and while there were some occasional surprises like Chris Johnson, almost all were highly rated. Plus, don't even pretend like you wouldn't rather have Carolina's recruiting classes than State's. You shouldn't even pretend that you'd rather have O'Brien than Butch, although I understand that you have to. I do find it amusing when you clowns keep bringing up Amato when his recruiting classes were never this good, nor did he ever achieve the success that Butch Davis had. Gloat about your victory, as you deserve to, but leave out the bullshit.
What you've shown is a proclivity towards mangling the English language when you try to use words and phrases you don't completely understand, all in a desperate yet transparent attempt to seem more intelligent than you actually are. Ironically, it achieves the opposite.

You have shown that you can't argue the point and try to insult instead. While you insult, I have provided the definition of what an objective opinion would be from dictionary.com and you clearly didn't meet it in this thread. So, you look for sentence structure that you don't like rather than an actual basis for an argument since you are clearly wrong in this matter.

LOL! Amato's 2003 class was tied for 9th with Texas A&M on scout and #7 on Rivals. Objective and all.....

Until Butch gets to the Gator bowl or above, then Amato clearly acheived better success at NCSU than Butch has had at UNC so far. Only time will tell if Butch can do better...

Showing that you credited Butch's recruiting for his success at Miami and then try to dismiss his recruiting at UNC was a compelling argument, but of course you need to lie and pretend that I "can't argue the point" because you're getting your ass kicked. It's the same kind of desperate self-delusion that leads you to insist that you're not concerned about Davis' recruiting success or O'Brien's lack thereof. As for the rest, I insult you on top of that because you're unintelligent and annoying.

Actually I did, but you need to pretend otherwise because you are afraid of the implications.
