Damn, I missed the game last night. Perhaps I'm the jinx lol.

Anyway, haven't looked at the box score but Boston is fading. I think bringing in Starbury would be a disaster for them, but I guess the one guy who might be able to get with him is KG. I still think it's a bad idea, Starbury hasn't played on a winning team in close to a decade.

As far as Roy, weren't there concerns about an arthritic knee? Obviously we blew the pick, but several other teams passed on Roy as well.

There were concerns about his knee. If I remember right, it came down to Morrison or Rudy Gay as the pick.

How do you pick a big slow white boy with a stupid looking mustache and a mullet with the #3 pick? I can see why guys like him go in the first round, they might be good coming off the bench for a little offense but he was never going to be able to defend the better small forwards in the league.

How do you pick a big fat lazy guy like May so high. He could not stay in shape in college what makes you think he is going to do better after he is out of school and a millionaire.

Those were two blown picks that could have made this franchise a winner by now if they had been used intellligently. At least Larry Brown seems to be making better choices now the he is on board.

I thought Morrison had the size to get his shot off in the NBA, still do. I thought he was a better spot-up shooter than he's proven to be though. He seems to shoot better off the move, and he's not fast enough to make a move, that's a problem. If he was a shooter ala JJ Redick or Dell Curry his lack of speed wouldn't matter, he needs to work on that.

In other news Jason Richardson got a DUI right before Christmas.

With the win tonight at Detroit, the Bobcats are now 8-8 since Diaw/Bell joined the team including wins over Boston and @ Detroit. 7-16 prior to them joining the team. They have a tough 4 game home stretch coming up: Portland, San Antonio, Memphis, and Phoenix.

I've got a serious man-crush on Diaw. I love the way he plays basketball. I guess his downfall has always been consistent effort so we'll see how that goes in the long-term. I think he also allows us to shop Wallace, not that I necessarily want to get rid of him.

From what I hear we won't get much for him because he's overpaid, if that's the case I'd rather keep him. I just can't bet around this team's ability to bring in Free Agents, and as such building your team around salary cap concerns just says you're cheap. You have to use assets to bring in other assets, not to bring in salary cap space.

Diaw has definitely paid off. I just hope that the rumors of trading him to New York for Curry don't pan out.

I think the line up they have right now is playoff caliber. I would almost be inclined to give Felton a long term deal. It needs some depth for sure but the five starters are pretty good.

    The bench sucks balls though.

DJ needs to get back soon.
