I like the game, but I still think MW was better. This one seems to just follow the same layout only during WW2. I don't blame them for doing it but other than hoping in a tank/turret it doesn't bring anything great to the franchise. I wish they'd have multiplayer maps where mortar rounds are laying around, like they have in the solo campaign.

ok dudes.. just got the game.. liked MW.. what are your nicknames on multiplayer?.. what time do you usually go online to play?.. any named rooms to look for?

see they have Co op but don't know a thing about it.. would love to play with you guys online in public or private rooms.. that would be fun if we could get a bunch of us together regulary beating the crap out of each other or standing together against the other infidels

maybe someone could set up a TBRs public room?

haven't played it COD for a while so it will take me a bit of time to come back to speed.. been playing the heck out of MOH airborne until my Puter Hd blew out.. but am back up as an hour ago with the Core 2 Duo

I rented this and it was ok, but I liked Modern Warfare a hell of a lot better.

This COD was made by a different internal team, the one that was responsible for COD3. It uses the COD4 engine though. The true COD4 followup should arrive next year.

By all accounts it's a lot better than COD3. It's the best-looking WWII game to date, and has a lot of the cool multiplayer options that COD4 has. The overall theme is stale though, coming off of the brand new settings of COD4.

Interesting. I wondered why it played so differently.
