FYI on Chad Pennington

You must have missed my first post where I called their run game average, which is what I believe it was...118/game is right around the NFL average.

 

I was responding more to the "not much of a running game".

I don't care much whether it changes any feelings on Pennington, but their running game was just fine, and they have two high #1s running behind two first round tackles.

 

Their running game was average.

"Not much of a running game" was in comparison to Carolina. Why don't you quit being such a bitch every time anyone bangs on Jake. He sucks, deal with it.

It's not an insult. You're trying to downplay the Dolphins running attack when you know what they did to NE.

 

One game, great. You're actually arguing against yourself because they piled up a ton of stats in one lopsided win mostly out of the single wing which nobody was prepared for. Kind of gimicky.

 

Very gimmicky. But it was worth five scores in a game that we now see helped decide which of those teams played this week. And it's a legit part of their running game. They definitely got ground support, they have talent.

The argument about the wideouts is valid, Ginn should be better and they never got much to go with him, but they got a lot of production out of the TEs and backs. Pennington had a very efficient year, undoubtedly. I believe their running game was there, though.
