Amazing how you can go from super excited to ready to throw the remote through the TV. Draughn looks like a good RB but if he can't get a handle on that fumbling problem then he's useless really. 31-30.. could have been worse but yet another one they had won and let slip away.

Carolina gets another commit from Brennan Williams an OT from Mass. His father played in the NFL. 6'6 270 lbs. If half this class makes it , Butch has made a haul.

I guess another kid just got nervous in Chapel Hill cause he's going to have to find a way to pay to go to school after his scholarship is pulled. Pathetic that Davis continues to recruit when he's about a football team over the scholarship limit.

Goes on in every program in the country. Doesn't make it right but that's the way it is.

I disagree, nobody else in the country overrecruits the way that Butch Davis is currently doing at UNC Chapel Hill. Of course, other schools overrecruit, but not to this extent. Just a bit unfair to the kids that have committed a year or more to the program to have their scholarship yanked, and that's exactly what he plans to do with a BUNCH of players.

no better time than now to welcome the kids to the real world. they have to compete for their job or else it's gone, just like anywhere else.

mostly. reality is, he'll approach what he and the staff view as average talent, tell them they'll be moved to 2nd 3rd string. some players will want to transfer out to get playing time, BD and staff will be upfront with them and let them know the situation that they already know.
