    This thread is for the Miami Dolphins.

    I recognize that I will take cheap shots at the patriots every chance I get, but that is only because I am a Miami fan.

    Let's get this back to talking about teams that made the playoffs.

    The dolphins are not a playoff team. They got in because Brady went down.

    The Dolphins are in the playoffs. Therefore, they are a playoff team.

    It would be the Patriots doing exactly what they have done for years when dealing with overpriced players.

    Brady isn't overpriced, he's under paid by league standards. They are not going to trade the best player in the league in his prime.

    What they have always done is not be held hostage by players wanting to renegotiate or extend in the final year and to release players they feel are no longer a good return on the money.

    When you are 1-15 and then you go 11-5 the next year, you are happy about the results.

    You can talk about superbowls all you want, but the patriots had plenty of years where they sucked. Anyone who wants to bag on miami for "not being a playoff team" is just a hater.
