He has said no to the Browns and to the Jets....and some say that he could go to the Broncos, but do any of you think he is holding out for the Panthers job in some way. Even if it meant staying in the studio for another year?

I heard that he said he's perfectly content just waiting on the UNCC job.

he's probably got a ways to wait, if he's doing that.

I doubt it, though. Truth is, he's just going to hold out for a legitimately decent team. Denver might be about as close as anything else - decent QB/WR tandem already,
OK line. Dumervil could fit his (rather, Lebeau's) scheme. There really won't be another San Diego just sitting out there, with clear playoff talent, though.

    Question.

I heard on TV that he still lives in Pitt. I thought he moved to NC. True?

I heard that he has bought a house in NC and was interested in either the Panthers job or NCSU

Or maybe he has a great job in television, a lot of money, a championship, and is no longer interested in the grind of being an NFL head coach.

Taking over Browns,Lions could place Cowher in systems that might require more talent than he has .

Broncos Cowboys Redskins have owners ,and scouts that will do what it takes to build Cowher competive teams .

Steelers had an owner and key scouts and coaches and players in place when Cowher took over .

I'm not sure Cowher can take a team from Bottom to top like Parcells
