A few observations from the game...

I thought NC State and Rutgers did a good job of bringing in a lot of fans. NC State had more fans at the game but it was a good crowd considering the game was in Alabama. Russell Wilson had a good first half for us and if he plays the whole game, I think NC State gets the win. Harrison Beck sucks. Anyone who has never seen Daniel Evans play knows he should have never been on a D1 football field, but he showed a lot of heart tonight and anything he did was better than what Beck did. Stevie Wonder has more field presence than Beck. The defense played well even though they spent the whole second half on the field. Owen Spencer did his usual drop 3 or 4 passes that he should have caught. I hope Glennon is as good as they say he is because with Wilson getting injured a lot, we will need a good 2nd string QB. Harrison Beck should not step on the field next year, not even for warm-ups. After Beck threw the interception to the linebacker on the 1 yard line, State should have just left at that point. The QB(Teel I think) played pretty good tonight. He seemed to show a lot of pocket presence and beyond the 1 interception, had a good game. Have to give the Rutgers O-line props because they didn't allow any sacks tonight. Congrats to Rutgers on the win tonight and Beck still sucks.

Let's not forget the Pac 10.

I'd say SEC and B12 are the best two overall conferences, then the Pac-10 then the ACC, B10 and BE.

from top to bottom no conference will EVER be a power.....if they were it wouldn't be possible for them to be in the same conference. For instance if every team in the Big 12 were good enough to be in the top 25 they would simply beat up on eachother (much like Oklahoma, Texas, and Texas Tech this year). Imagine if the ENTIRE conference was like that, top to bottom. No team would be a power if they all were a power.

I agree that the Pack need a good #2qb because Wilson is likely to miss some games with his style. Beck is a wreck.

The big redshirt freshman from this year will fill this void, hopefully.
By the way, he looks exactly like Napoleon Dynamite (except he's 6-6)
