55-32 as a starter for the panthers.

In the 4 seasons he started every game ( i'll give him the start for game 1 2003 ), we've made the playoffs in 3 of them.

So Jake gets credit for those wins but people want to say that Trent Dilfer was just along for the ride during Baltimore's Super Bowls? Delhomme still isn't any better than 100 other guys who could fill his position, but he did play well yesterday.

Try to follow along because we've already been over this. I have conclusively proven over the years that I know far, far more about evaluating NFL quarterbacks than anyone on this board, including magnus. He acknowledged that earlier in this very thread, in fact. I've also predicted success for players like Chris Redman, which everyone mocked me about until he went out and proved me right. Elite quarterbacks are extremely rare, very good quarterbacks are uncommon, and decent quarterbacks are all over the place. Delhomme is decent. He went undrafted for a reason, he has terrible mechanics, he's not accurate, and he makes dumb decisions with the ball under pressure. He's had success here because of Steve Smith and Muhsin Muhammad.

That may all be true. But there aren't 100 that are as good or better. There, I just conclusively proved that.
