elitist? Christ, I like Dave Matthews Band.

 

that's cool. i guess i'll finally get a chance to see them. was going to see dmb since i haven't seen them in about 3 years. finally had a concert here on a friday. probably gonna sell out quick. shit, might be more people buying for the avett brothers than dmb.

i should try and use my connections to get backstage and meet dmb.

there was a pretty big crowd for the opener this time. Lawn loved it, the seats were kinda going through the advanced case of Avett transition - going from WTF to kinda making fun of it to being unable to not get into it to wishing there was more.

Some of the new songs sound good. A lot like Emotionalism's songs though.

If I was a big Avett Brothers fan, these photos from their video shoot yesterday wouldn't exactly get me excited for their new album. That stage dive looks like a video you'd see on CMT.

I hope I'm wrong. I think I've said before I'm not a huge fan of their music, but they are awfully nice dudes and I hope they do well.

 

I kinda liked them until I saw them at Merlefest. The music and the singing hurt my ears......and I like some really ear hurting music.
