isnt that misstep by kasay cause for a false start penalty flag? which would have pushed us back 5 but given us another shot?

So you saw that too? I thought it was just me. As soon as I saw that I thought to myself "he missed this one". Still it came awfully close considering he was out of rhythm on the kick.

Two of the biggest kicks in this shitty little franchises history and J.K fucks it up. (Superbowl, last night.) Deangelo williams should face rape him for making him run so much for nothing.

Something was funky with his approach, I don't know if he went eraly which should have drawn a flag or if he just stutter stepped.

I agree. Kasay said in a post game interview that he stutter-stepped, but stated it had nothing to do with the miss. He said he had kicked in those type of conditions before, but just misjudged the wind (paraphrased).

Kasay is not the blame for that loss. If we were a more disciplined team, he would not have been put in the position to kick a long field goal in those conditions.

In spite of several calling for his head because of that miss, folks should realize that he brings a lot more to this team than just a highly accurate leg.

If we didn't just sit on a two score lead, Kasay becomes pretty irrelevant. If we stopped the Giants offense, Kasay becomes pretty irrelevant. Jake had some boneheaded passes but none of the should have been INTs actually were. Kasay missed the field goal though I still say without the swirling wind, that kick was going to be good. But pointing at Jake & Kasay is leaving a hell of a lot of blame unsaid. I realize no one is really saying it was just those two, but it starts to sound like it when it gets repeated ad nauseum.
