    I guess we want them to be brother's so Kerry's dad can know what it feels like to have a son live up to his potential.

    Kerry did a nice job for the cubs in the closer role last year. Wood is one of the guys that actually want to get back and want to play. Prior wants to milk the system. Playing in college I learned that some guys actually like being hurt. Kerry is NOT one of those guys....he busted his ass to get back.

    Not to mention, his sports hero growing up was Nolan Ryan. That's a plus in my book.

    Ryan Sandburgh was like that. So was Jodey Davis. Those were the days - hard-nosed Cubs like Larry Boa and Ron Say would NEVER milk the system.

    damnit captain....you are hurting my feelings. It's Ryne Sandberg. And by the way Ron Santo not being in the hall is a crime against baseball.
