I am so glad Coach K quit starting Paulus. Zoubek is gonna help a lot this year. They still shoot a lot of 3s but they looked sharp and got it inside a lot too. They'll be peaking in March.

I realize Xavier is a big in-state rival, but why would you not pull for X to beat Duke? If they win, it's huge for the league. As a 49ers fan, I was hoping like hell that X would win, because that's a huge win for the A-10.

You kinda answered the question...........its a big rival. And #7 beating #6 doesn't make it a "huge win for the A-10".

from the message he sent the game before Xavier and the way they played Saturday, I bet they peak sooner and continue to play well. I don't like the live by 3 die by 3 style of play, but that's just me. When it works, they'll get on top of teams early and stay on top

as a Duke fan, i don't like it either, but if the shot is wide open, you take it...and they were wide open against Xavier and even Michigan.....so you see what happens. That said, Zoubek is improving greatly and Smith can get into the lane much better than Paulus.....If Henderson can develop a mid-range game then the 3 ball just becomes that much less necessary....Singlar is a match-up problem for anyone due to his ball handling and shooting. They'll be OK.....they will get beaten in conference by a team that executes well and when Duke has an off night....a VT or Miami will give them fits....other than UNC i dont know a team that will really match-up well with them.
