    Question:

    Who did you think was more deserving? UT or OU? And why?

    If you picked UT...was it because of the head-to-head? If you think OU...why?

    I believe that Oklahoma is a better team than Texas. I sympathize with Texas' argument that they won head to head, but they can't then conveniently forget that Texas Tech had only one loss too and actually beat Texas. Because of that, head to head has to be taken out of the equation. That Texas-OU game was one of the best of the year, and could have gone either way. Plus the more I looked at it, Oklahoma simply played a tougher schedule and played better against that schedule. They blew out a very good TCU team as well as the eventual Big East champ.

    1. I agree OU should have been in.

    2. You can see where it would be hypocritical of someone that opposes a playoff system if they thought UT should have been in over OU because of head-to-head though, right?

    No, that isn't the case at all. Someone who believes that Texas was more deserving does not have to support a playoff. All the reasons against a playoff would still have the same validity. Those people would simply call for changes to the method of BCS selection, something they have done periodically over the years.

    Don't forget the Big 12's Championship criteria, that fucked Texas as much as anything else...if not more.

    Actually, the "what if" and texas/texas tech were two separate thoughts, indicated by the new paragraph. Mr. Smarty Pants.

    And as for "frustrating", you might want to consider what dealing with you is like.

    I imagine that annoying is a better word than frustrating. This isn't a like/dislike thing for me. You seem like a decent guy, but sometimes trying to explain things to you is like conversing with someone who doesn't speak English. You end up stumbling around trying to find a way to convey a meaning the person clearly doesn't understand. I don't mean to single you out on that, as there are a lot of people here in the same boat. You aren't super-dumb like Thelt by any stretch, you're just somewhat slow.
