    No, I think you can play against people who aren't in the same room as you. Supposed to be one of the selling features.

    This is idiotic.
    720p projector for $700, or 1080p projector for $2000+. 720p FTW!
    720p TV for $800, or 1080p TV for $1400... likely 720p FTW too.

    It TOTALLY depends on the price (if they are priced the same with the same features otherwise, of course get 1080p), but reality is most people can't tell the difference between 1080p and 720p in blind tests if they are at a normal sitting distance from a normal (<60") screen...

    I agree. My living room TV is 1080p and my bedroom is 720p. Both LCD. I didn't want to spend the extra $200-300 for a negligible differece in picture quality on a 32" TV.
