I'm sure that you believe that. But your whole argument revolves around the 2 best teams always being selected, but if that was true, then Vegas wouldn't have the field. Take the ACC tourney for instance - I highly doubt that the field would be favored over the top 2 seeds.

No one has said that it wasn't cool. What we said is that it's strange that they didn't offer you a job. I mean you keep telling us how qualified and smart you are. You'd think they'd see it too. You've never really described what you did either. I'm curious as to why.

They happened over many years. The last 2 led to promotions or bigger roles. In one, the client threatened to walk when my work wanted to move me to another project and in the other I was handpicked by the head of the project for my role.

Oh good grief, you're the one who is lying and you're telling one giant whopper at that. You're clearly smart, but the reason people don't value your opinion nearly as much as they do mine is because people have seen me admit when I'm wrong. They trust that I'm being genuine and saying what I believe, not just covering my ass. Elric actually got a response from someone at Fox Sports who definitively said that you were wrong, and your reaction was to pretend that the guy had actually agreed with you. Over the top 2? No, probably not, but we're not talking about the top two. We're talking about just the one favorite, and I would imagine that the field is almost always (and perhaps is always) favored over the one favorite. That's because of the mathematical odds involved in any single elimination iterative process. You just don't understand the math, which is why you continue to babble even after I've explained it to you. Note that you haven't challenged my math or any of the facts I've presented, because you can't. All you've done is to give excuses to keep arguing something you know to be false.

I've acknowledged more flaws than anyone else on this board, and while you might have fun arguing that it's because I am more flawed than anyone on this board, the reality is that I'm far more honest about that sort of thing than you have ever been. In order to judge others, you have to be willing to judge yourself by the same standards. I do, you don't. When you start showing the slightest bit of honesty about your own failings, then you might be able to lecture me. Until then you're a hypocrite who tries to tear me down because I make you feel small and irrelevant.

So I guess you follow that old idea that if you're going to tell a lie, tell a really big one. Next I'm sure you'll say that the merger was your idea and that you headed the whole project. Clowns like you keep pretending that it was something to be embarrassed about when the reality is that you're too much of a coward to ever stand behind your own words. That would have a lot more credence if:
1) You hadn't already admitted that you do talk about me away from the boards.
2) That you clearly follow me around the forums and look for opportunities to take shots at me.
3) People weren't tracking down my personal details and Emailing them to other members of the board.

It's not paranoia if other people clearly are out to get you. Now I'll grant that I've given many of them good reason to, including yourself after all the many times I've humiliated you and made you look stupid. But you still have a choice as to whether you wallow in that bitterness or move on.

A small mind like yours simply can't comprehend one like mine, which is why you struggle with these sorts of mistakes. You are the one who defines yourself based on your ability to win arguments, which is why you refuse to admit that you're ever wrong about anything. Meanwhile I have shown many times that I can admit when I'm wrong. I don't argue with other people to acquire self-esteem, I do it to get peace of mind because seeing other people say stupid or wrong things really bugs the shit out of me. I want to make those people stop saying stupid or wrong things because that's the only way I can be content. "Winning" isn't about making myself look good, it's just about making the other person stop irritating me with their stupidity. I can't get enjoyment from "winning" an argument any more than I could from getting As in school because it's generally not enjoyable if you expect it.

I've probably done that to lots of people who annoyed the shit out of me, especially the ones I believed to be cowards. But no, I really don't talk about you away from the board. There are people who participate in these forums that I do know offline, talk to on IM, or play games with me on X-Box Live. Any of them can tell you that when they bring up someone from these forums, I don't want to talk about it. I'm not consumed with grudges and bitterness like you are. In fact, I'm remarkably forgiving. If you could somehow stop being retarded then I imagine we'd get along fine. That's actually happened with some people I used to fight with regularly but now actually do favors for away from the boards.


Look, I am a narcissist so I quite enjoy talking about myself, but even I have my limits. The reality is that if you didn't like talking about me, you wouldn't. You bring up my life regularly because you're obsessed with it. You can make as many denials as you want, but the fact is that you do bring it up and you do talk about it incessantly. If you want to prove that you really don't care, then talk about something else.

Yes, a couple of people did agree with you. Most who posted, not to mention the Fox Sports analyst and the president of FIFA himself, did not. The FIFA rules themselves did not. Best of Both Worlds

Division 1 Football Needs Playoff To Dertemine National Champion

It can be accomplished without doing away with bowl games, so you get the best of both worlds...

Take top 8 BCS teams and enter BCS Playoff, all other teams would participate in respective bowl games as normal. The playoff would consist of 7 games, the national champion would have to win 3. The BCS Bowl Games would fall into the playoff picture (would have to come up with 2 more BCS Bowl names, such as bringing back the Peach Bowl and maybe moving the Cotton Bowl into BCS).
