I will say on one score "against Lucas", he turned and was clearly talking to Godfrey or one of the others and he was facing my way. He didn't look especially angry, but he appeared to be telling the other guy he had messed up and the other guy (I wasn't paying attention to the person talked to as much as Lucas's actions) nodded and patted his chest briefly. They talked for several minutes.

Seemed like on Bryant's one handed TD catch, Godfrey should have picked him up. Looked like Lucas had short-wide and turned Bryant over to Godfrey who got there late.

I watched the running backs drills last summer in training camp and Hoovers fingers looked like pretzels. He has an arthritis foundation the Panthers support. Between football and genetics Hoover's hands look rough

Yeah, we had a good night, but in general we haven't been consistent about putting pressure on the quarterback.

And, as I stated in another thread, Cutler has dropped back to pass 489 times and has only been sacked 7 times.

489 drop backs - every team knows they're gonna pass. 7 sacks.

Hoover told me that he is not dealing with a "new" injury. He has busted fingers, blown up knuckles in the past. He was taking complete blame for the drops--still kicking himself today even. They were drops--nothing injury related.
