He's stayed with some plays that were Godfrey's, sure.
Godfrey does miss some assignments and if it doesn't stop he might be the next corner-turned-safety-turned corner. But, Lucas did fine with Deke Cooper sucking the life out of everyone too.

I can't fault Lucas for that one score, where he was interfered with and the call went the other way, but he's gonna have to stop biting on double moves. Hell he got faked by Marty Booker in week 2 that way.

That's exactly what I told my friend...that Lucas bites on the double move, and the play action has been his enemy all year. He doesn't see it that way.

Godfrey is supposed to be there to help out on deep routes, but no, I don't remember any plays from last night where the receiver was clearly Godfrey's responsibility like a couple in previous games.

Didn't we just pick up 5 sacks against Tampa? To me, that was especially impressive against the quick passing game the Bucs thrive on.

Seemed to come and go a bit, went through stretches where he had all day play after play. But it was better overall than in some other weeks. We got some hits on him beyond the sacks. Even on that last TD to Bryant, Garcia got sandwiched.
