The ACC also sent 9 teams to bowl games this year.

What's the BCS record? The ACC did well with getting teams into bowl games this year. Then again, a team has to truely suck to NOT go to a bowl game these days.

8 wins should be the minimum to be in a bowl.

Good for them. Like I said, you don't really have to be good to go to a bowl game these days though. The ACC doesn't make the rules though so good for those teams. Hopefully they will win some of those games.

8 wins at least and they should cut the number of bowls games at least in half.

Yeah, WAY too many freakin' bowl games on now with matchups that no one really cares to see. I guess someone makes money from them but it's hard to see how.

It's all about the money. I don't see a problem with the number of bowl games, it provides teams with a chance to be seen on the national level and gives the fans a lot of football to watch over a 2 week period. I am a big fan of college football so I enjoy the bowl games and the match-ups these games provide.

It's hard to have a good BCS team when the ACC is sending 10 teams to a bowl game. There is no other conference that had balance in it like the ACC.

    I agree.

Plus....you have to have something for schools that arent members of the "Big 6". 99% of those teams have no shot at making a BCS bowl game. Absolutely no chance of a championship game. And...when left up to the bowl committees...they will take a sub-par team with "history" or a big name over a school that could possibly deserve it more. (i.e. OSU over Boise this year)

The ACC had the best record among BCS conferences against other BCS conferences last season, and they did it again this season.
