    Ass

Spurrier is nothing more than a asshole. He is constantly sticking his nose where it does not belong and lately does not know when to shut the hell up. Didn't he say in the media that SC may just go down to Gainesville and surprise the Gators? Well 60 something, to very little and the Cocks were sent home limp. Then last week calling the NCAA about whether or not Lane Kiffin had committed violations before he was named Head Coach by contacting recruits before taking the NCAA mandated recruit test. He said he didn't take it after being fired from the Skins, not until he was actually hired by USC. Well Steve.....Lane was a step ahead of you then and if your not careful he will be robbing your current recruiting class. I dont know why I keep thinking he should have a lil class. I forgot that you can't make chicken salad out of chicken shit.

I'm pretty sure that the ACC has had more first round picks over the last ten years than the SEC. If not, it's definitely pretty close because they're the top two conferences at producing NFL talent. I'm surprised that Spurrier cares so much, though. I figured that he'd get tired of South Carolina soon and retire.

1st round SEC draft picks since 99: 65

1st round ACC draft picks since 99: 47

The ACC would be closer if you counted the Miami and Va Tech picks prior to their joining in 04 and 05. But Miami isn't producing at the clip they were at that time anyway.

My mistake. Maybe the ACC has the lead since the time of expansion, I don't know. I remember hearing a statistic of that sort, but not the context. Regardless, it's a pretty flimsy argument from the ol' ballcoach.

Well, SC hasn't exactly been an NFL Factory regardless, so a heathly bit of STFU could do him some good.

Having so many games on TV anymore has leveled the playing field for all. I believe the SEC to be the top confrence, even in a down year for many clubs we have 2 teams in the BCS mix. But the differences between the conferences has clearly been shortened.

Comparing the academics at SEC schools to ACC schools is ridiculous. The SEC has some very good schools and they all are good in their own way but Steve, nobody would buy that the SEC is superior academically.

Here is something Spurrier can try to explain...

ACC fans, here’s something else to throw out out your insufferable SEC friends.
The Pro Bowl rosters were announced today and of the 84 players named, 20 were from current ACC schools. That’s a whopping 23.8% of the rosters.
Those numbers are impressive in their own right. Match them up against the other BCS conferences, and you’ve got even more reason to hold your head high today, ACC fan.
The SEC? It had 13 representatives - or 15.5% of the Pro Bowl roster. The Big Twelve had eight (9.5%) and the Big Ten had seven (8.3%).
