    Burnett seems to be the guy they're looking at most closely. don't like. he typifies the guy who saves his best for his contract year.

    Burnett's peripherals were actually not much different between '08 and '07, his luck was just better. But I don't think the Sox need to add a pricey starter regardless.

    You mean the White Sox are mentioning every major team as if they're all interested in Jermaine Dye. Dye has no place to play in Boston unless the Red Sox move Drew, which they can't because of the contract, and I'm not sure that's an upgrade anyway.
