You seem to have missed the entire point. I do not hate UNC. Quite the opposite as I admire and respect the tradition the team has developed over the years.

Why do people like you say that as if it's something to be proud of? Pulling for the school you went to is the easiest thing in the world. Supporting one school all your life is much more impressive, especially while you're attending a different school. Now certainly I pull for the schools I attended also, but my primary allegiance is the one I've always had. It's like Panthers fans who live in other parts of the country. It would be a lot easier to just go along with whatever the local team is, but sticking with your original allegiance is much cooler and more impressive in my eyes.

Wow, major kudos to you then, I didn't realize you had it so tough in life pulling for Charlotte.

Glad I don't fit into this group or I would have to listen to you cry about this topic even more.

Allegiance to the school you attended. Why isn't that something to be proud of? I grew up pulling for the Tar Heels but then reconsidered after I went to Charlotte. To me it's more gratifying to pull for the school I attended than a school that I have nothing to do with and it has nothing to do with me, other than I accepted there way back when. Just my opinion of course.

It hasn't been so tough except for the last couple of seasons. Still, I'll stick with them instead of taking the easy way and pulling for the Heels.

So, you went to UNC? If so, then please accept my apologies.

Dunno, I pulled for UNC when they were 8-20, and that certainly brought a lot more grief because of their past accomplishments than pulling for a team that didn't have as much to live upto from past accomplishments. A lot of that grief came from primarily Niners and dookettes on this board, which a lot of them don't come around now, wonder why?

I can totally understand you pulling for Charlotte and again big kudos for doing so. But I am also not going to look down on people who pull for other teams for whatever reason, some are valid in my mind and some aren't, but that really doesn't matter, it's my opinion just like yours.

I guess the thing that sticks out in my mind, is that you feel the need to post about it a few times each season, but yet it's no big deal to you???
