Fighting with people on the internet probably isn't the best way for a 30 year old to spend his time, but for a 17 year old it's especially pathetic. And while you're at Augusta State, see if they'll teach you something about punctuation and not abusing the caps lock.

I would agree that a thirty year old fighting on the internet is stupid...thats why im asking why you do it for a life? but im glad you know how to use google. i mean you should have memorized every search engine since your on the computer all the time..not only every search engine but every porn site as well.

Actually I did several times. Playoffs generate more interest and TV ratings. If the people who run MLB, the NBA, and any other sport cared most about crowning the most deserving winner, then they wouldn't have playoffs. That's not what they care most about, though, and I don't particularly blame them. Upsets and Cinderella stories are great drama which cultivate increased interest in that sport.

    Scott:
Believe it or not, when I was 17, I too was an all-conference baseball player (although I was a better hitter than pitcher). At your age I most certainly didn't waste my nights the way that you are right now. I was going to parties or sneaking out and doing dumb shit with my friends. Life isn't nearly as exciting at 30 for most people as it was at 17, which is why it's especially pathetic that this is how you're choosing to spend your senior year.

And for the record, at your age I too had a choice to make about where to go to school. I absolutely loved playing baseball, but I was also a mathematical genius being recruited by MIT and other top schools. I had to face up to the fact that I wasn't going to make a living playing baseball, so it was time to focus on academics. I admit that I know nothing whatsoever about Augusta State as an academic institution, but if you couldn't get a scholarship from a higher profile school than that, then the chances of you being drafted are slim. In addition to spending more time with 17 or 18 year old girls than with 30 year old guys on the internet, I strongly encourage you to spend as much time on your grades at Augusta as you do baseball. I'm sure that pitching is enormously fun for you now, but it won't last much longer, and judging by the content of your posts, I think you have a long way to go in terms of your education.

haha well once again there big man..but just admit it you couldnt cut it or even get a scholarship to a division 2 school and had no life because you sat at home doing calculus? but you are somewhat contradicting yourself.. you give me advise to go sneak out and party but then you say to focus on school more than pitching? so you kinda make no sense and by the way you shoul have stuck with math because based on your post your arent the hottest writter big man. I've seen high schoolers write with more quality than this but for your information my grades are perfectly fine i just dont take time to write every tiny detail on a board thread bc i have things to do with my time

in addition you obviously dont understand the position that I am in considering not everybody can afford to pay for college so they are forced to take rides to smaller schools so dont judge people compare peoples talents based on there skill level and augusta st. has had around 20 people go to play professional baseball so once again dont judge just because youve never heard of it

Good lord, you're stupid. I was saying that I could have played D2, you retard, but I knew that wouldn't get me anywhere in the long run so I took an academic scholarship to a major university. Again, stop spending your time on the internet with 30 year old men and start spending some offline with people your own age.

rofl..and somehow you're 30 years old still stuck in some apartment and writing for some fantasy fantasy magazine. Seems like with all your "major league connections" and as smart as you are someone would have had you in a front office a long time ago. Maybe you should have taken that DII scholarship.

Life isnt nearly exciting at 30 as it is 17? Most people at 30 actually have money and have friends. You obviously have neither. They dont sit behind the computer all weekend like you do finding some kid to argue with.
