Duke vs. Purdue

Should be a good game.If Duke is shooting well,they should win.I'm a little concerned about the inside game...

 

Duke's inside game looked way better than Purdue's. Outrebounded them by a significant amount. Zoubek and Thomas have really improved over last year. Thomas has a lot more confidence and Zoubek gives quality minutes whereas last year he was an automatic turnover.

 

Def not what I expected. Henderson doesnt hit double figures and Duke leads the entire way and the game was never in question....Singlar is a beast they are going to be tougher than folks were giving them credit for. Digger Phelps must be hating life.

Hummel for Purdue gets 15 but i think 6/8 of those were in the last 3 min when they were playing catch-up. He got owned.

You can tell how much Duke needs Nolan Smith in the game, he is so much faster and creates so much for them. That said, i give big props to Paulus coming in when Smith got his 4th, he controled things and they built on the lead.

 

I was impressed. If Henderson can get going, they will be tough to handle.

 

Seriously, Sly - you've got to be kidding. I saw Zoubek get blocked by the rim when he tried an up and under move. The kid is big, but he's horrible...

He's not great,but he's not horrible either.He and Thomas are much improved.
