all I want is an honest attempt to improve the position. I don't expect to luck into Brady but you won't find one if you don't try.

 

I'd say we're all flawed, and your flaws tend to take away from you the most. It has nothing to do with that, but certainly, your bias colors arguments about subjects because you're arguing with me, and you brought it up, so why not point it out? You can't have that both ways, really.

Until then, you will just have to deal with Delhomme and Fox. Again, I'm sure that's going to be pretty frustrating for you, all the winning and shit.

well, I disagree. You could say that Smith's stats make up a lot of Delhomme's stats, so take away Smith and Delhomme gets worse. Of course, if you take away any QB's best receiver and have a dropoff to the next one, you're going to have that. I don't think any QB should be punished for having a top notch receiver.

Plus, 2004 argument, don't even have to post it further. And, some might argue a less Smith-centric team would keep Jake from locking on as much and distributing to the open man more.

 

Name 5 QBs in the league better than Delhomme. I would rather not fish through stats, but show me 5 QBs that are playing today that have had a better career and are still succeeding at a 9-3 level.

Statistically, there are around 20 better right now. Jake isn't having a good year for Jake.

 

QB's are measured by wins and loses. Stats at the QB position are for losers.

nah, there's a lot to learn about statistically for QBs. Jake's post-bye hasn't been nearly as good as his pre-bye, and his record away has been crappy, which probably isn't a good leading indicator if we don't win the division.

 

I hope people can keep writing 'but look at our record' if we get bounced from the playoffs...

 

Y'all love to confuse team record with qb play when it suits you
