    He's got the passion.

That ball to smith should've been picked, but for the Tiger Balm and the voodoo magic.

I actually felt cocky when he was lining up, licking his palms on that winning drive 'play'.

Really - it's why he's in the league.

Looking at the replay, he tries to step into the throw but seems to hop backwards with the rush in his face. It's the kind of throw that sometimes comes off looking like a punt. It didn't.

It probably helped that the wind was at his back, but I still take it.:REDanceFdans002HL:

Steve Smith is the one and only reason that Jake Delhomme is still starting games in the NFL.

you and this thread don't get along at all.

You might not like him, and he hasn't been as productive in the second half of the year as any of us had hoped, but he's a starting NFL quarterback. There's no doubt about that.

To be honest, even tho Rodgers missed his first 4 passes, he started throwing and connecting so well for most of the game that I just felt like he was taking Jake to school.

Then look what happens, damn Jake throws up a dying duck off his back foot (of course) and Steve Smith brings it down on the 1 yard line,,,,,,, and THEN Rodgers goes out and his very next pass is the game-ending interception.

Go figure. I'm starting to think maybe this is the Panthers' year...
