Kelvin Sampson - Five Year Show Cause?

    Basically it means that if you hire someone that has a show cause penalty, you have show that you are disciplining the person for violating the rules they broke. I don't know how you'd show that, or what punishment would be sufficient to prove that you did. Most schools don't either, which is why a show cause is pretty much a de facto coaching ban.

    Is it a 5 year from now or when they hire him. Since he is a NBA coach now does it really effect him? I'd imagine it starts when/if he comes back. In other words he'll stay in the pros
