His stats were horrible against the Chargers(if that's who you're talking about). They were also awful against the 49ers and Rams, who also have terrible D's.

I'm talking about the stats of his last two games, the Jets and Dolphins, which have the 15th and 14th ranked defenses(ypg). And yes, putting up better stats against those teams is more impressive. To deny it is the equivalent of saying beating the Raiders is the same as beating the Giants.

No, I said that I'd rather see them take Ryan than take Dorsey or Ellis, guys who have elite potential as defensive players. You claimed that I said choosing Ryan was a "stupid pick," which I never did. In fact, I said in our magazine that I thought Matt Ryan would be a good NFL quarterback. I didn't think he would be elite and I haven't changed my mind on that, but nowhere did I ever say that I thought he would suck.

Ryan had a good game, but he wasn't threading passes between coverage like a Peyton or Brady. He looks great for someone who is just a rookie, but it helped a lot that we left receivers wide ass open and then didn't tackle them.
