.......I'll grant you brother, that 6 turnovers like UNC had, which were in cut throat areas.............they hurt big time. BUT, NCSU waxed the heels ass up and down the field PERIOD.
No excuses when a team gets dogged.
NCSUs kicking game sucked. They gave UNC mant opps for moving the ball or putting the Pack on the 3 yd. line.
So, what did the holier than thou heels do???? They let the Pack march down for 97 yds. They, UNC could not make any progress on offense when the Pack kicking game gave them field position.
Bottom line is that UNC got slapped in the face again.
I'm a huge NCSU fan, but I want to see UNC put a program together that can represent the ACC. With the $$$ that the Heels have, theres NO excuse in not having a top notch football team...........to go with their Basketball, Baseball, and Soccer national position.

I'm not trying to flame, but I'd hold your horse on Wilson being as good as you might be tempted to think he is right now. If he has the same success next year, I'll give it to you, but don't underestimate what a year's worth of film does for opposing defenses. Once coaching staff adjust their schemes, then its on Wilson to make the necessary adjustments.

This is part of the reason, imo, Sexton was struggling up until the Maryland game. With 6 games of film on him already, defenses had enough material to figure out UNC's tendencies and were able to adjust. Sexton was kinda able to catch Miami off guard, but with each passing game, the game plan against him, and the UNC offense, became more evident. This is what a good backup gives you: 5-6 games of starter quality work, then a slide as defenses start to figure out a gameplan works.

Wilson is a very poised and athletic quarterback. But it would be a little presumptuous to assume that the performances he was able to put forth this year are gonna continue in the next three. There's no reason to say he won't if he and the team keep working at it, but there are certainly still some big hurdles for him, as well as the rest of the NCSU offense, to overcome. Defensive gameplans against the Wolfpack in 2009 will be different than they were this year, you can count on that.

I don't think I have ever heard that logic applied to college.
