    It's the dollar. All commodities drop when the dollar gains.

    I was told but I can't remember exactly the details. Suffice to say hedge funds and pension funds had to pull out of the market for the same reasons well maintained companies with great books are going down the tubes. Everyone has had to "show the money" up front and trading using smoke and mirrors was not going to get it when the bottom dropped out.

    Peak oil, China, India, pirates could no longer be used as an excuse to inflate the price of oil. Has demand gone down 65%, hell no. It's been all BS since 2004 just like I have been saying it was. I know you hate it when I am right all the time. Deal with it.
