    Ive had sleep apnea for about 10 years. My sleep study, which I was one of the first patients in our local sleep lab, revealed that I had 525 apnea episodes in the course of six hours. I was later put on a BiPap on levels of 15 (inhale) and 7 (exhale). Ive been using it ever since.

    My doctor told me back in 1999 that roughly 35 million Americans have been diagnosed with some form of sleep apnea and about that amount have a form of sleep apnea - and dont even realize it. God only knows what that number is today.

    Did your doctor give you any idea how long you stopped breathing while asleep? Mine told me I stopped anywhere from 10 seconds to 40 on occassion :saddam:

    How do you catch sleep apnea? Is there a shot or anything that will get rid of it?
