No kidding, I'm not taking NC State nor Duke as a gimmie. Considering they lost to State last year and should've lost to Duke, they should be up for both games.

It's certainly possible for State to beat Carolina, but that's a separate question from whether or not they're equal teams. I do believe that UNC is clearly superior overall, but that doesn't mean they'll win one particular game.

...I'm done betting on NCSU for sure, but I'm also done betting on UNC. They were clearly superior to a Maryland bunch who slapped them in the mouth.
NCSU, at least at this part of the reg. season has recouped from injuries, the offense is moving the ball, and Collin, I'm sure you, as would I, have said that WFU was the better team overall prior to Sat. , but NCSU was a much better team vs. WFU than maybe the team that lost to a damn good S. Fla. team earlier in the year.
Both teams have many holes to fill.
    UNC by 11-12?

No, I agree that line is absurdly high. Also, I wouldn't necessarily say that Wake Forest was a better team. I don't think they're as good as they've been in recent years.

Carolina gets another commitment today. CB Terry Shankle from South Stanley HS. Offers from Alabama, Klempson, Florida, NC State, Tenn, among others. Butch is dominating recruiting instate this year.

The recruiting has been great, no doubt. I hope he's managed to get some serious upgrades on the OL & DL. They got their asses whipped in the trenches the last two weeks.

That puts UNC 10 players over the scholarship limit. Which players are on the chopping block?

Yeah, after watchin both lines get their asses whooped saturday, I was pretty happy Sunday night about the Farms kid, the **** GA OL who switched his commitment from Baja Carolina to UNC.

Getting Shankle helps at another position of need, secondary. Burney has been solid this year, but his height has led to getting burnt more often than I would like, especially against teams with tall WR's like Notre Dame.
