Give me a fuckin break. Every team in the league jams Moss because of the deep help and every nobody gives Welker free release because he can be man handled at the line. Welker had 7 catches, Gaffney had 7 and Watson 8. Why? They were all seeing single coverage most of the night.

Nice copy and paste job Pres, couldn't you come up with anything on your own?

Erpi, you just got bitched slapped. Accept your humiliation with grace instead of making things worse for yourself.

No, Welker wasn't. You have absolutely nothing to support your position except your own opinion, and no one on this board thinks you're knowledgeable about football. Meanwhile presidence provided corroboration showing that Welker was being doubled frequently. If you weren't such a hard-headed retard, you'd listen and learn that those three guys had so many catches because they're all being used primarily on short and medium routes. Watch a Pats game and see how often Cassell tests the defense deep. It almost never happens, as he's scared to do it and McDaniels is scared to force him to do it.

The only time I saw Welker given considerable space was when the Jets were playing prevent at the end of the game.

Oh, fuck off Collin. You calling anyone hard-headed is a joke.

This "Bucky" guy is really saying what I said earlier. He is talking about a modified cover 2 defense in obvious passing situations which isn't exactly ground breaking material. Here is his quote: " The Jets unveiled a hybrid "two-man bracket" coverage in the first half that effectively double-teamed Moss and Welker on passing downs."

I said earlier in the thread that I saw Welker doubled when the Jets went to their nickel, which is used in obvious passing downs. Here is my quote:

    Doubled in obvious passing downs.

Presidence wants us to believe that the Jets dedicated 4 defensive players to two offensive players all night. The patriots would have won by 50 if that was the case.

Maybe you should STFU and realize that you are basing your entire argument on the following:

    1) an obscure paragraph that really just agrees with me

    2) you, who admits to have not seen the game

    3) B&B who is citing the end of the game for some reason

    4) and Presidence who doen't know the difference between the Tampa 2 and a Tampa strip club

Aside from two very easy catches on the final drive, Welker was being smothered most of the night.

What are you trying to get out of this?

Bucky Brooks didn't agree with you, you fucking moron. He totally disproved what you claimed. You insisted that presidence "knew nothing about the game" because he suggested that the Jets dedicated two corners and the two safeties to Moss and Welker, but then Brooks confirmed that's precisely what they did.

Erpi, it seems like you would have learned this lesson by now. I get away with being an asshole because I am so supremely intelligent that I'm usually correct, therefore people are forced to respect what I say whether they want to or not. You, on the other hand, are both stupid and a jerk. People dismiss and despise you because you're an asshole while having no intelligence or knowledge to make anyone value what you have to say. You're both reviled and useless, which is why no one ever asks for your opinion on anything.

Oh, and fyi, Welker and Moss were both targeted the same number of times (8) against the Jets, but all of Welker's targets were short attempts and thus mostly completed, whereas Moss' were mostly long and incomplete. Two of Moss' three catches came on two of the three times he was targeted on short routes.
