Is probably going to blow his top soon. No receptions midway through Q3. Been ignored in the passing game most of the last 2 weeks as well (on my Fantasy Team)

he really should get as much receiving as Kevin Faulk. It's a decoy thing, sure, but he can go up and get it, too. To have three receivers around 6 catches, 60 yards and two of them with scores is interesting and shows they don't need one guy to win, but yeah, it's a matter of time with Randy.

That'll stave him off for a while. Nice catch.

    there's your highlight, definitely.

And huge for Cassell's own legend. 1:04 left to march 62 yards to tie, plus coming from 24-6 to tie.

And that's with Cassell missing 3 wide open deep shots, a nonforced fumble from Watson, unpatriotlike penalties, and a bad snap costing them 31 yards.

Pats will be sick when they see the tape.

still a good game for him. 400 yards/3 TD for a guy who isn't supposed to be good against a bought defense that is supposed to be good.

Tough going against Favre with the ball with the game on the line, though.

Perhaps Cassell's best game, he certainly isn't a Tony Eason fold up chair. He competes.

The deep ball is the component missing though,

It is amazing to me how badly he misses Moss deep when he is so wide open.

Good job overall in this game, he has been improving, but he hasnt come close to anything like this game.

He's not being ignored, he is being taken out of the game by the defense. Cassel isn't going to throw into double coverage just to please people who play fantasy football. He is going to take Welker and Gaffney in single coverage and Watson with a linebacker on him all day.

I disagree. Moss isn't getting balls because Cassell is scared to make difficult throws and the coaching staff is scared to tell him to. They take the easy, safe stuff because they don't want him to screw up, but there isn't enough trust yet to try anything difficult unless he has to. That works fine against mediocre teams, but they're going to have to force things to Moss if they want to start beating good teams. It's not terribly unlike how Smitty got lost in our offense last season.
