I think their stock is recession-proof. If people cut back on eating out, they will do so at expensive restaurants, like Olive Garden and Outback. In hard economic times, you can't beat a double cheeseburger for $1. They also pay a $2 dividend and had 11% profit in the third quarter. Thoughts?

Getting 400 calories for $1 is the reason this country is so fat.

At some point people have to realize how nasty that shit is no matter how cheap it appears to be.

En una economía mal los gentes se compran la cerveza y los cigarrillos.

No shit, did you see "Super Size Me"? Also, read "Fast Food Nation". That's a damn eye opener. Doesn't defeat the fact that people will still eat there no matter what. Drive by during lunch and the drive thru line is around the building.

"Super Size Me" was a great show. The guy had to quit eating there before the 30 days or he was going to die, that shows how healthy that food is for you. I try to avoid places like that but the only place I do like is Chick-fil-a.

Here is a website that shows the calories amount for the different types of foods offered at fast food places. It really shows how bad these places are when you start looking at the "sandwiches/hamburger compared."

It's an eye-opener?? Are you serious??

Super Size Me proved that if people make bad decisions they pay the consequences..not really a groundbreaking concept.....as if anyone really thinks eating the worst shit on ANY menu is going to be good for them?
Spending time and money to prove that eating fast food everyday is not good for you is like spending money to prove that dogshit smells.
