Swapping out discs kills any chance of it getting played in a party environment. I hope they offer a way to 'download' the songs on your HD ala RB1 so you can play them all in the RB2 menu.

Harmonix is going to be making a Beatles game, but it's not a 'Rock Band' game so I doubt you'll ever be able to integrate those songs. It likely will have a completely different front end and hopefully you can play as the Beatles throughout their visual evolution.

The AC/DC game has the same front-end as the Rock Band game, right down to creating the characters.

It does have a code included with the game to download all of the songs into RB1/RB2... don't need the disc at all.

    You can't create characters...

AC/DC GAME is RB1 with vasectomy.
AC/DC songs regardless are insanely CRAPPY - LIVE sucks, HUGE boring sections, HUGE big rock endings that get old FAST, etc. I LOVE AC/DC and I HATED this enough to sell it immediately.

I played it for a few minutes, you have the same characters as in Rock Band 1 right?

I wish these Band discs would be more focused on the band. The music being live aside the point, it just seems stupid playing all AC/DC music with Rock Band characters. Since the game was all AC/DC it would have been better if they made the characters dance, sing and look like their real counterparts. AC/DC definitely has a style that would have looked cool replicated in videogame form.

I hope they go that route with the Beatles game, but very little is known about that thus far. It's good to know the game came with an import code, I burned a copy and only played it for a few songs. I intend to run through the game someday but I could already tell it was disappointing.

there's plenty of people selling this game on ebay. All you have to do is buy it at walmart, use the import to rockband 2 code, and then sell it for $20 or so.

They should have just made it a DLC, but paying $20 for it in the end isn't too bad.
