    yeah this will put a crimp in Hansbrough's records chase. Those early cup cake games are where he could/would really pile on the points.

    You want to feel sorry for Hansbrough but Gerald Henderson is really the victim here.

    Top-ranked North Carolina is a solid favorite to win the men's basketball national championship in April, and the Tar Heels appear positioned to continue their winning ways into the future.
    On the first day of the early signing period for high school players, Carolina secured five of the top 100 Wednesday and landed the nation's best class, according to a compilation of the rankings put together by recruiting services Rivals.com and Scout.com.
    UNC signed forward John Henson of Tampa, wing Leslie McDonald from Memphis, guard Dexter Strickland of Rahway, N.J., and twin forwards David Wear and Travis Wear from Huntington Beach, Calif.

    "We are very excited about this class," Tar Heels coach Roy Williams said in a statement. "All five do a great job both in the classroom and on the basketball court. They all have been well-coached in high school, and they are all interested in their team winning."

    Size is the only reason the Holes currently have the best class. Henson and Strickland are the only players that will contribute immediately. If Duke lands Wall its class will be far superior to UNShe's.
