Well, last night's game sucked, save for one run made early in the third quarter where we cut it to 5. Jason Richardson looks like a more complete offensive player already in Brown's system, and he had a nice steal on help defense against LeBron. I thought Felton played better than his stats (1-10 FGs, 5 ast) but DJ Augustin played well off the bench. Again the two PGs played several minutes together, Felton looked more comfortable at Point imo.

Okafor's offensive game looks worse than ever, lord knows what's going on there. Hopefully he's shaking the rust off because last night I wasn't particularly impressed with anything he did, even though he had double digit rebounds.

Sean May looked abysmal. He had a face up in the post where he got blocked by a 72 year old Ben Wallace. He bricked 17 footers. He had one strong move to the basket and was fouled, but that was it. When you consider that the #12 pick in the draft, PF/C Jason Thompson had 18 pts and 11 boards in his debut off the bench, it really makes you wonder how we could pass on filling this hole. PF is going to be a problem all year, and at this point you have to wonder if May will ever be able to contribute. Didn't look like it last night.

One bright spot past Richardson was Adam Morrison. He had a nice hot stretch in the second quarter and ended up with 9 points. He moved like a 35 year old Steve Smith (basketball player) though so we'll see how his game adjusts. He had a tough finish inside, it would really help him get open shots if he can do that more.

Overall even though they got smoked (mostly thanks to a red-hot Daniel Gibson) I felt like they were a much better team than last year. We've got a lot more depth but some glaring holes and a much-improved conference will likely keep us far from the playoffs.

So far this year, including preseason and regular season:
    9 games played....9 losses.

Not a particular good start for the Larry Brown era.

They did look good. I'm not sure I've seen the Bobcats come out and take a double-digit lead and keep it the whole game. I understand the Heat won 15 games last year but they are supposed to be much improved with the return of Wade and a full season of Shawn Marion. We matched up well with the Heat, as they are even smaller than we are, hence our dominance on the boards.

Good win against a division opponent, and like coach said last night, it's always good to get that first win. I was afraid the longer we went without a win the more would be spoken about that, now we can just go and play basketball.

Gerald Wallace was a beast last night, I was crying because I selected Artest over him in our fantasy draft. Artest had 29 last night but if Wallace stays healthy I really wish I had picked him.

Bobcats in years past got out to big leads and gave them up. I was impressed with how the team kept it going.

Of course, Miami is not a good team.

The only way the Bobcats could create less buzz is to...........

    I'm thinking....

Let's just say there is not a lot of people paying attention.

The only way to create a buzz is to win and make the playoffs. That always brings out the bandwagon crowd. And 99% of the bandwagoners would tell you they were there from the beginning ;)

People had stopped caring before the Hornets left.
