    I read an article in Reader's Digest several years ago about Mohammed Ali. We all know he is Muslim. Mohammed was asked the question: "How do you know you are going to Heaven"?

    Ali's answer was...I will get to Heaven by doing more good deeds than bad deeds. This includes more good thoughts than bad thoughts.

    As a Christian I know all I have to do is ask for forgiveness or repent of my sins and they will be wiped clean. I know for a fact that I couldn't do more good deeds and thoughts to get to Heaven.

    If that is how someone who calls themself a Christian acted, then I would seriously question whether they had truly accepted Jesus Christ as Lord and Saviour of their life. If a conversion has taken place then there would be no desire to behave that way, since a sincere, servant heart and attitude would be evident.

    Someone who truly places their faith in Jesus Christ has a disire to serve Him and do His will. One of those things is to love others. That doesn't mean that Christians are perfect, because they aren't. They are just forgiven of their sins. Anyone can be forgiven of their sins if they place their faith in Jesus Christ for salvation.
