...today. Was Terry Don on the field when Bowden was coach?
On the surface it didnt' look good to me, but, after further review, 'ol Terry Dons future might be folding before his eyes, so maybe he's hell bent and determined to right the ship.
    Whats up?

He's usually on the sidelines for significant portions of the game. This wasn't anything new. The media just decided to make it important.

...thanks. I was watching the game, not listening to it. The cameras were interested to say the least.
i wonder how important an issue, (the AD on your ass on the sideline), will become when Clemson tries to throw 2-3 million at their next coach. I've heard many names, and one of them was Bill Cowher, who turned down 10 mil in the pros. Obviously he would laugh at 3 mil and an AD in his ear on the sideline.
    Good luck Tigers.

I was at the game. The only noticable difference on the sideline was the spirit and emotion. As for Cowher, who knows. I'm done trying to decide who and when.

Cowher has made it pretty clear that he doesn't want to return to coaching any time soon, and I can't imagine this would be a situation that he'd want to be involved with. No way in hell.

They need someone with energy, but christ, Dabo is way too much of a fanboy.

So far, I love every thing about Dabo. I don't think he's ready for a job of this calibur, but I hope he is able to stay at Clemson in some position. He's made it pretty clear thats what he wants unless a HC job comes his way.

Bill Cowher WILL NOT be Clemson's next coach. Just stop it.

....Tubberville, Kiffin, Cowher....? This thread is about the AD on the sidelines in the coaches ear, maybe today was a one time event, other posters say otherwise. So tell me football fans, what coach will be willing to take a job with huge expectations, great pay, and a boss/AD who "might" micromanage your position?
I'm not a Clemson fan or a non fan of Clemson, but I see a BIG problem, a power problem with any AD on the field, the bench in basketball etc.

It will NOT be Cowher. Quit mentioning his name in your posts.

...you're damn right it won't be Cowher! HHHMMMM, I wonder why this bothers you? No I don't, it chaps your Clemson ass that for the last 10 years that program has sucked! And if you had a coach like Cowher, who you'll never get because of billy bob AD, then Clemson will continue to be in the middle of the conference.
A school like Clemson, and especially considering their class, kick your ass football tradition, should NEVER be out of the top 25 in the USA.
Stop beating around the bush Laff, with your don't mention Cowher....
....stand up and answer my question. Will a big time coach accept the job at Clemson knowing that the AD will be standing along side of him on the sideline?????
