Phillies can close out the Dodgers with either their #1 or #2 starter verses any of the Dodgers? Consider it a bet
    GO PHILLIES !!!

Philly is strong from top to bottom in both pitching and hitting. What a performance by everyone. The Dodgers showed their youth while Philly exposed all of its weaknesses, even in management. If the Dodgers can maintain the same roster and add a couple pieces, they could very well return to the NLCS and or World Series.

The Dodgers all but shutdown Rollins and Howard, and they managed to still beat them seemingly with no problem.

Hats off to the Phillies and to you Paul. That was a fun series to watch, and being and NL fan (a real mans league) I will be pulling for the Phillies to win it all. They deserve it, Charlie deserves it, and the city of Philadelphia deserves it.

The Phillies are a fun team to watch. Hammels has become a big time starter, Utley is a rock, Howard can slug it with just about anyone, and Victorino is becoming my favorite player in all of baseball. The thing that sets them apart from the Rays if they beat Boston is Lidge. This year, he is the best closer in the game.

Amazing. I thought this would be the Cubs year what with their starting pitching and stout lineup. Utley carried the team through June while Howard couldn't get his average over 200 and then the streaky Burrell took over then Ryan Howard. If Rollins could rebound after a crap year for him who knows. I am so glad the trade for Lidge worked out. I really hated to give away Michael Bourn and Eric Bartlett but it was a risk to take. Lidge has rewarded the Phils by coming back strong. I don't really care who the Phillies play as both are strong. The BoSox are no way as strong without Manny and their pitching isn't what it used to be. The Rays are young and talented.

Can I just mail you the wings and beer, Paul? Or perhaps you'd rather have a special delivery made by Fred :FOFastpizza:
